Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be adept at thriving in a fast-paced environment, managing tasks efficiently

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills, facilitating effective communication with team members and clients
  • The candidates should demonstrate excellent oral communication skills in conveying information clearly and professionally
  • The candidates should exhibit flexibility, adapting to changing circumstances and tasks as required
  • The candidates should be team players, fostering collaboration and positive interactions within the team

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to establish methods to meet work schedules and prepare a budget and cost estimates
  • The candidates should be able to supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and hire food service staff
  • The candidates should be able to ensure food service and quality control, address customers’ complaints or concerns, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • The candidates should be able to estimate and order ingredients and supplies, prepare and submit reports, and have knowledge of the establishment’s culinary genres
  • The candidates should be able to prepare food order summaries for the chef, supervise and check the assembly of trays, and supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys
