Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of a secondary school diploma
Experience: Candidates should have one year of laboratory experience
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work independently and follow instructions precisely and manual dexterity
- The candidates should be detail-oriented and capable of working in a highly regulated environment
- The candidates should be available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends, and must be able to return to the site within 30 minutes during on-call shifts
- The candidates should have the physical ability to perform the duties of the position and work effectively with others in a team environment
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have an equivalent combination of education and experience and experience in a regulated, manufacturing environment
- The candidates should have strong written and verbal communication skills in English, including legible handwriting and superior multi-tasking skills
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to receive orders, select, issue, dispatch, and pack blood, blood components, and fractionation products to hospitals according to Standard Operating Procedures
- The candidates should be able to prepare shipments of units to the fractionation plant and perform other department-related tasks and duties
- The candidates should be able to operate a computer terminal and other automated equipment
- The candidates should be able to maintain adequate stock of supplies and prepare weekly supply orders
- The candidates should be able to perform maintenance of equipment and end label and store products correctly
- The candidates should be able to observe laboratory hygiene, safety regulations, and precautions
