Today, we offer an on-farm produce store, a seasonal gift shop, maple syrup and Christmas trees and are a vendor at markets in Gananoque, Kingston and Crosby. Our staffs are efficient and well-trained and they are the backbone of our success. We strive to offer a diverse range of produce always with quality in mind. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $15.83 to $18.00 hourly for 30 to 50 hours per week
Employment Type: Full time, Seasonal employment

Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Early Morning and Morning
Work setting: Staff accommodation is available and rural area
Work site environment: Candidates should work in fruit and vegetable combination farming, outdoors, wet/damp, dusty and hot place
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Type of crops: Asparagus, Bell peppers, Blueberries, Cabbage, Carrots, Cauliflowers, Cucumbers, Garlic, Melons, Onions, Raspberries, Strawberries, Sweet corn, Tomatoes and Zucchinis
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to perform repetitive tasks, pay attention to detail, distinguish between colours, stand for extended periods and also for bending, crouching, kneeling
- The candidate should be physically strong
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able for hand harvesting vegetables and also greenhouse cleaning
- The candidate should be able to hoe crops, plant, cultivate and irrigate crops and also harvest crops
- The candidate should be able to examine produce for quality and prepare for market
