We provide a comprehensive range of general linen and operating room linen processing, management and distribution services to large hospitals, medical clinics and other commercial accounts. Salary: $15.65 to $19.00 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment – Full time
Location: 9750 McCarthy Road Kelowna, BC V4V 1S5
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Shift, Overtime, On Call, Early Morning
Work Setting: Hospital/health institution laundry
Work site environmet: Hot, Noisy, Odours
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: The candidate should have minimum qualification of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset, also training will be provided to the candidates.
Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and pay attention to detail.
- The candidate should be physically demanding and required to handle large workload.
- The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks on frequent basis and should stand for extended periods.
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be organised and a good team player.
