Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have bachelor’s degree or international equivalent
Experience: Candidates should have 3-5 years previous Sales and/or Marketing experience

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be authorized to work in Canada
  • The candidates should have experience in the insurance or logistics industry, which is preferred
  • The candidates should either have or are expected to obtain their level 1 RIBO (Ontario Insurance) license within 90 days from their start date (Internal/External Candidates)
  • The candidates should have a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 suite

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to introduce customer acquisition and relationship management skills in this position
  • The candidates should be able to prepare to support customer onboarding and lifecycle management through the development of business, supply chain risk, and financial acumen
  • The candidates should be able to build outreach and prospect management plans leveraging technology to support the sales pipeline for an assigned geographic territory
  • The candidates should be able to ensure that all customer inquiries and qualified leads are followed up with accurately and in a timely manner
  • The candidates should be able to maintain high call quality scores to achieve individual opportunity identification and revenue targets
  • The candidates should be able to conduct outbound prospect touch points daily
  • The candidates should be able to maintain knowledge of UPSC products and services to develop appropriate and compelling value proposals to potential customers
  • The candidates should be able to maintain awareness of the competitive environment and competitors’ offerings
  • The candidates should be able to identify sales opportunities and qualify leads
  • The candidates should be able to support the growth of new products, tools, and customer groups
  • The candidates should be able to act as the lead new business development resource in an assigned geographic territory
  • The candidates should be able to maintain detailed notes on customer interactions
  • The candidates should be able to provide updates and feedback to internal partners
