Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic cash register, Point of sale system
Security and safety: Bondable
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling as part of their job responsibilities and be capable of handling heavy loads, up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
- The candidates should thrive in a fast-paced environment, work efficiently under pressure, and demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- The candidates should work for overtime, and the job may be physically demanding, requiring candidates to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and stand for extended periods
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to confirm they are of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages, address customers’ complaints or concerns, and present bills and accept payment
- The candidates should be able to describe menu items, including daily specials, advise on menu selections, clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, describe and advise on wine selection, and greet patrons
- The candidates should be able to present menus, make recommendations, answer questions regarding food and beverages, serve food and beverages, take orders, and relay them to kitchen and bar staff
- The candidates should be able to assist clients/guests with special needs and provide customer service
