Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Morning
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Credentials: National Lifeguard Service (NLS) certificate, CPR certificate, and first aid certificate
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate accuracy in their work and prioritize client needs, showing a strong client focus
- The candidates should be dependable, consistently fulfilling their duties, and possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication
- The candidates should exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility in adapting to changing circumstances, and show initiative in seeking proactive solutions
- The candidates should have interpersonal awareness for effective interaction with others and exercise good judgment in decision-making
- The candidates should be organized in managing tasks and priorities, demonstrate reliability in fulfilling their responsibilities consistently, and be team players, fostering collaboration and supporting team goals
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate and instruct athletic, fitness, or sports activities and techniques, and keep logs and maintain records
- The candidates should be able to train staff and ensure the safety of rescuers and victims at accident scenes
- The candidates should be able to instruct groups and individuals in arts and crafts, and assist with the coordination of recreational, sport, and fitness events
- The candidates should be able to lead groups and individuals in recreational or leisure programs, plan and carry out recreational, fitness, and sports activities, and maintain and repair sports equipment
- The candidates should be able to train and supervise staff, prepare reports, and understand the principles of group dynamics
- The candidates should be able to schedule activities, keep logs, maintain records, and prepare reports, and lead/instruct groups and individuals
- The candidates should be able to patrol/supervise activities and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- The candidates should be able to monitor recreational, sports, or fitness activities to ensure safety and provide emergency or first aid assistance when required
