Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Overtime, On Call, Morning
Work setting: Barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Hair styling techniques: Blow drying
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and have strong attention to detail
- The candidates should possess hand-eye coordination and be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize client needs and demonstrate dependability
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication skills and be reliable
- The candidates should be team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to book appointments and suggest a hairstyle compatible with the client’s physical features and preferences
- The candidates should be able to cut and trim hair according to the client’s instructions or preferences, shampoo customers’ hair, and shave and trim beards and mustaches
- The candidates should be able to maintain and order supplies
