Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience in managing technical teams that deliver and support analytical capabilities
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have an understanding of the major modeling techniques and how to apply them, including Linear and Logistic Regression, Bayesian methods, Time series analysis, Confidence intervals, and Deep Learning
- The candidates should have experience supporting machine learning models in production cloud environments, with Azure experience
- The candidates should have hands-on experience with analytical tools, preferably AzureML, Vertex, SageMaker, Snowflake, DataBricks, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Python, and/or R
- The candidates should have working knowledge of LLM operations, including fine-tuning, grounding techniques, and prompt engineering best practices and strong experience developing CI/CD pipelines
- The candidates should be fluent in version control tools and practices, including GitHub and Azure DevOps
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to lead, manage, and develop the ML Engineering group in the Toronto office
- The candidates should be able to take responsibility for the internal and external labor applied to ML Engineering projects
- The candidates should be able to manage the ML engineering budget and oversee the estimation process
- The candidates should be able to implement machine learning algorithms and customized libraries
- The candidates should be able to assist the Data Science team with the development of complex tools, models, or database builds
- The candidates should be able to collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to develop data and model pipelines and improve existing machine learning models
