Salary: $73,000 to $80,000 annually (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week

Location: Mississauga, ON
Shifts: Day, Evening, 14:30 to 23:00
Work setting: Machinery installation, Maintenance, Repair, and Machine set-up
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Other trades certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Area of specialization:Â Troubleshooting
Equipment and machinery experience:Â Automated and Robotic System, Conveyor, Electrical and Electronic Controls, Power Tools, Pumps and Compressors, Welding Equipment
Computer and technology knowledge:Â MS Office
Credentials:Â Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to handle physically demanding tasks and be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling
- The candidates should have attention to detail and be able to work under pressure
- The candidates should be able to work in a noisy environment and be comfortable working in environments with odours
- The candidates should be able to work in dusty conditions and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication skills
- The candidates should be team players
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assemble mechanical equipment and stationary industrial machinery
- The candidates should be able to detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions and read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
- The candidates should be able to repair or replace defective machinery parts and perform routine maintenance work on machinery
- The candidates should be able to program programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and install machinery and equipment
