Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a College/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs to align with organizational goals and legal requirements and advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements to ensure compliance and understanding
  • The candidates should be able to establish and implement policies and procedures that foster a positive work environment and support organizational objectives and assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs related to human resources to ensure their effective implementation and outcomes
  • The candidates should be able to plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain qualified candidates and research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales to ensure fair and competitive compensation
  • The candidates should be able to administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs to support employee well-being and diversity initiatives and coordinate employee performance and appraisal programs to assess and enhance employee productivity and development
  • The candidates should be able to manage training and development strategies to enhance employee skills and competencies aligned with organizational needs and oversee the analysis of employee data and information to identify trends and areas for improvement in HR practices
  • The candidates should be able to research employee benefits and health and safety practices and recommend changes to improve employee satisfaction and well-being and hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure a competent and motivated HR team
  • The candidates should be able to liaise with management, union officials, and HR consultants to address HR-related issues and promote effective communication and organize and administer staff consultation and grievance procedures to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment
