Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates should have a Master’s Degree in a Health Discipline (Nursing, Social Work, and Occupational therapy), Health Administration or a related field
Experience: Candidates should have 5 years of progressive hospital based management and/or supervisory experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to work in a dynamic, changing environment
  • The candidates should be members in good standing with their professional college

  • The candidates should possess clinical expertise with youth populations

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to participate in strategic planning initiatives, serving as a strong ambassador for CAMH and the Child, Youth, and Family Services
  • The candidates should be able to support the growth and development of a clinical teaching program within the organization
  • The candidates should be able to build and maintain community stakeholder relationships and partnerships to enhance services and support for clients and families
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate clinical programming on a daily basis, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to clients and families
  • The candidates should be able to schedule staff effectively, taking into account caseloads, client needs, and staffing resources
  • The candidates should be able to supervise the interprofessional team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members
  • The candidates should be able to manage all aspects of human resources within the department, including recruitment, performance management, and staff development
  • The candidates should be able to monitor and analyze budgetary and statistical data related to the department, ensuring financial sustainability and accountability
  • The candidates should be able to participate in major projects that support the transformative agenda at CAMH, contributing to organizational goals and objectives
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate with the Child, Youth, and Emerging Adult management team, supporting and participating in portfolio-wide activities to enhance services and achieve organizational priorities
