Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have showcase 8+ years of Java/JEE experience

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have demonstrate 10+ years of technical leadership experience in leading engineering teams delivering large-scale and mission-critical projects
  • The candidates should provide 5+ years of experience in the Spring tech stack and building microservices using Spring Boot, exhibit 3+ years of experience in Scala/Spark
  • The candidates should have demonstrate strong experience with Hadoop, Spark, Parquet, or similar Big Data technologies
  • The candidates should show strong experience in a Linux environment, design and integrate with REST APIs, work with messaging technologies such as Kafka
  • The candidates should handle RDBMS, demonstrate fluency in SQL, and have experience with any non-relational database such as Cassandra
  • The candidates should be able to work with Git, CI/CD toolsets (Maven), Jenkins, and within an Agile environment, understand and apply best practices and design patterns
  • The candidates should have develop and manage highly scalable and low-latency systems demonstrate a passion for delivering the best products to customers, simplifying and automating work, improving efficiency, and supporting others

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to lead the team in developing high-quality software to support business operations efficiently
  • The candidates should be able to oversee multiple development streams while ensuring adherence to the proper code promotion process
  • The candidates should be able to manage lower development environments and maintain their stability
  • The candidates should be able to conduct Design Reviews and Code Reviews to uphold software quality standards
  • The candidates should be able to analyze legacy code, perform reverse engineering, optimize performance, and resolve system bottlenecks
  • The candidates should be able to investigate production issues and implement permanent solutions
  • The candidates should be able to advocate for best practices in continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
  • The candidates should be able to drive automation initiatives, optimize testing processes, and enhance data quality
