Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a Master’s degree in Data Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics and Operational Research
Experience: Candidates should have 7 years of industry experience in data science, operational research, or similar quantitative roles in industry or an academic environment
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have proven expertise in predictive modeling, revenue management, operational research, machine learning, and statistical analysis
- The candidates should be proficient with relational databases (SQL) and have experience with programming languages such as Python and Spark and experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI
- The candidates should be innovative and strategic thinkers, with a passion for leveraging science and technology to drive business results and improve the customer experience
- The candidates should have exceptional project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- The candidates should have excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into actionable business strategies
- The candidates should have strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate business needs into a modeling and analysis framework adapted to the decision timeline and required expertise with Microsoft Office tools and possess a positive attitude and a sense of humor
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to lead the development of the pricing capabilities for the Currency Management team
- The candidates should be able to lead the development of business and technical levers to manage the Aeroplan redemption portfolio
- The candidates should be able to lead the development of advanced analytical models to drive program innovation and lead research on emerging trends in loyalty programs and recommend innovative solutions to maintain a competitive advantage
- The candidates should be able to oversee the development of data-driven loyalty strategies, utilizing scientific methods and predictive analytics to optimize program outcomes and oversee the analysis of complex data sets to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and inform strategic decisions
- The candidates should be able to develop the technical roadmap and coordinate with other stakeholders in the company IT, Revenue Management, Marketing Analytics to deliver best-in-class Aeroplan program optimization tools and processes
- The candidates should be able to drive the integration of new technologies and scientific approaches into the loyalty program to enhance member engagement and value and manage the end-to-end process of loyalty program initiatives, from conceptualization to implementation and evaluation
- The candidates should be able to stay informed on the latest developments in loyalty sciences, data analytics, and technology to maintain a competitive edge and develop the data analyst skillset within the team
