Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have university degree in business, marketing, finance, math, computer science, data analytics and visualization or related field
Experience: Candidates should have 3 to 5+ years experience in data analytics & insights, data governance, database marketing

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a love for data and the ability to learn about different data sources and subject areas in order to deliver on requirements
  • The candidates should have access and combine data across multiple sources to uncover insights and support various business initiatives, as well as support ad-hoc requests/questions from executives and other key stakeholders
  • The candidates should have strong data storytelling capability by designing, developing, and implementing innovative analytical solutions
  • The candidates should streamline and automate data procedures within the team to reduce manual processes and improve overall efficiency
  • The candidates should assist in managing the repository of all reporting assets including but not limited to developing scripts, documentation, user guides, process maps, etc.
  • The candidates should possess strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical delivery skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating operations with technology skills
  • The candidates should possess strong technical skills in using a variety of tools to query, extract, and manipulate data, including tools such as SQL and SAS, are required. Additional experience in visualization tools using languages such as Power BI and Tableau is a must
  • The candidates should have solid interpersonal and relationship-building skills and the ability to work with cross-functional groups to quickly establish credibility internally and to be seen as a partner to the business with deep expertise in analytics and reporting
  • The candidates should have solid knowledge of Rogers Communications data and/or banking industry experience is an asset
