Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have the ability to build and execute a go-to-market strategy with clear KPIs and milestones, and align cross-functional resources to a common goal
- The candidates should have the ability to analyze data, understand core measurement strategies for merchandising teams, and derive actionable insights
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience working with or within national retailers, vendors, and brands
- The candidates should have knowledge of discounting, circulars, and in-store end cap signage and knowledge of marketing strategies used by merchants to drive category sales growth and market share
- The candidates should possess excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams, focusing on educating merchants and vendors to drive action
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to collaborate with sales teams and advertisers across multiple markets to understand merchants, including their incentives, current strategies to drive sales, and how to integrate Google solutions into their businesses
- The candidates should be able to bridge the gap between Google merchant-friendly ad products (namely Retail Media and Merchant Marketing) and the merchant community
- The candidates should be able to educate and pitch directly to executive merchandising leaders at Canadian organizations on the benefits of adopting Google solutions, partnering with Google Account teams
- The candidates should be able to build out a framework and go-to-market plan for how new-to-retail media advertisers can implement retail media strategies within their organizations, and help intermediate, advanced retail media organizations scale Google selling strategies to their retail media sales teams, agencies
- The candidates should be able to work cross-functionally with internal account teams and cross-functional partners to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing support of Google’s retail media solutions
