Salary: $19.00 hourly for 35 to 44 hours per week
Employment Type: Term or contract Full time
Location: Edmonton, AB
Shifts: Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift
Transportation information: Willing to travel
Work setting: Hospitality industry, Hotel, motel, resort, and Willing to relocate

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Computer and technology knowledge: Word processing software, Computerized bookkeeping system, Central reservation system (CRS), Spreadsheet, and Internet 

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment, including standing for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate client focus, be dependable, and possess efficient interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should have excellent oral communication skills, exhibit flexibility, and demonstrate good judgment
  • The candidates should be organized and show reliability

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to register arriving guests, assign rooms, and take, cancel, and change room reservations
  • The candidates should be able to provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as general information about points of interest in the area
  • The candidates should be able to process guests’ departures, calculate charges, receive payments, and maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments
  • The candidates should be able to perform clerical duties such as faxing, filing, and photocopying
  • The candidates should be able to answer telephone calls, relay messages, and assist clients/guests with special needs
  • The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties and provide excellent customer service
