Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have four (4) year Bachelor degree of Science in Nursing or equivalent
Experience: Candidates should have minimum five (5) years of progressive relevant nursing experience with a preference for experience in Family Practice, Adolescent Health, Public Health, Sexual Health, Emergency or Occupational Health setting. Phlebotomy experience

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess a Certificate of Competence from the Ontario College of Nurses
  • The candidates should have CPR and AED training, as well as completion of a TB screening training course

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to provide on-campus health care and health education to students, staff, and faculty in collaboration with the Health Services team, reporting to the Manager of Health Services
  • The candidates should be able to provide nursing services in cases of non-emergency, emergency, urgent, episodic illness, health counseling, and occupational health issues
  • The candidates should be able to facilitate the physicians’ clinics, maintain confidential health records, and manage the organizational and supply needs of the medical office
