Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office, MS Outlook, and MS Word

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment, working effectively under pressure, and meeting tight deadlines
  • The candidates should be able to handle repetitive tasks efficiently and demonstrate attention to detail
  • The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills and excel in oral communication
  • The candidates should possess strong written communication abilities and exhibit flexibility in their work approach
  • The candidates should maintain organization in their tasks, be reliable, and be effective team players
  • The candidates should have the ability to multitask and demonstrate good time management skills

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to greet people warmly and direct them to contacts or service areas efficiently, provide basic information to clients and the public courteously and accurately, and obtain and process information required to provide customer service effectively, ensuring satisfaction
  • The candidates should be able to operate a switchboard or telephone system proficiently, managing calls professionally, order office supplies as needed, maintaining adequate inventory levels, and record and relay information accurately and promptly to relevant parties
  • The candidates should be able to schedule and confirm appointments efficiently, coordinating with clients and colleagues, send invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring financial transactions are processed smoothly, and maintain work records and logs meticulously, organizing information for reference
  • The candidates should be able to perform clerical duties, such as filing, sorting, and distributing mail, with attention to detail, answer telephone calls and relay messages promptly and accurately, and arrange teleconferences smoothly, coordinating schedules and technical aspects
  • The candidates should be able to calculate billing charges accurately, ensuring invoices are correct, monitor mobile radio or telephone communications effectively, ensuring efficient use of resources, provide directory assistance to callers, helping them find the information they need, perform data entry accurately and efficiently, inputting information into systems, and provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
