Salary: $19.50 to $23.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Winnipeg, MB
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Area of specialization: Obtain specifications for eyeglasses or contact lenses and fit clients with prescription eyeglasses or contact lenses

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to handle repetitive tasks efficiently, possess good manual dexterity for precise handling of tools or equipment, and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in their work

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be accurate in their work, demonstrate a strong focus on client satisfaction, and be dependable in fulfilling their responsibilities
  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication, exhibit excellent oral and written communication abilities, and exercise good judgment in decision-making
  • The candidates should demonstrate reliability in completing tasks and meeting deadlines, be team players capable of working collaboratively with others, and show initiative in taking on new tasks and challenges
  • The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing circumstances and be organized in their approach to tasks and responsibilities

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assist clients in selecting eyeglasses, arrange for grinding or polishing of lenses, and adjust finished eyeglasses to fit the client
  • The candidates should be able to schedule and confirm appointments, and use MS Office proficiently
