Salary: Salary is not mentioned, $15.00-$20.00 hourly estimated salary
Employment Type: Seasonal contracts
Location: 1118 Point Pelee Dr, Leamington, ON N8H 3V4
Shifts: Sunday afternoon until Friday evening each week
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should possess relevant training and experience
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be fun and responsible individuals looking to focus on the needs of campers
- The candidates should be experience working with youth, children and young adults in a camp or outdoor education environment
- The candidates should be at least 17 years of age by December 31, 2024 in order to be eligible for employment
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have National Lifeguarding certification, Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification
- The candidates should have a current and acceptable Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
- The candidates should know it is a YMCA of Southwestern Ontario requirement that all employees and volunteers be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- The candidates should know exemptions will be granted upon receipt of acceptable proof of a permissible Human Rights Code ground

- The candidates should be able to communicate in a thorough, clear, and timely manner that supports information sharing, build positive relationships with colleagues, campers, and community members, and provide high-quality experiences to campers, participants, and families
- The candidates should be able to facilitate continuous learning and development for themselves, campers, participants, and colleagues, always demonstrating integrity through responsible behavior
