Scotian Gold Cooperative Limited based in Coldbrook, NS is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Packaging line worker. Scotian Gold Cooperative Limited was formed in 1912 when a group of fruit growers got together and formed The United Fruit Companies of Nova Scotia. Today, we are a grower owned tree fruit cooperative specializing in high quality, premium apple varieties and are the largest apple packing and storage operation in Eastern Canada. We are known to provide satisfaction to our customers, that they don’t have to go to any one else after getting the best services from us. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate or a diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to manually dexter, pay attention to detail and also stand for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be reliable and a team player and also have efficient interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to check and weigh materials and products and also sort, pack, crate and package materials and products
- The candidate should be able to clean machines and immediate work areas
- The candidate should be able to perform other labouring and elemental activities
