Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have post-secondary degree in related field of study desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience: Candidates should have typically between 2 – 3 years of relevant experience

  • The candidates should have completed registration to sell investment products appropriate for the jurisdiction within Canada
  • The candidates should possess appropriate lending qualifications and designations
  • The candidates should have a working knowledge of personal and small business customer needs and solutions

  • The candidates should be confident and experienced in using social media, tablets, smartphones, online tools, and applications

  • The candidates should be able to take a lead in proactively engaging with existing customers and prospects, providing needs-based assessments to grow loyalty and identify immediate/future opportunities
  • The candidates should be able to engage customers to complete needs assessments, identifying financial solutions and preferred banking channels while recommending tailored solutions addressing both sales and service needs
  • The candidates should be able to offer clients advice and guidance on available digital and self-serve options to make banking easy, simple, and fast
  • The candidates should be able to support customer transaction needs based on customer traffic

  • The candidates should be able to apply the risk management framework to the portfolio to protect the Bank’s assets and maintain the quality of the lending portfolio in compliance with requirements for the lending process
  • The candidates should be able to make credit recommendations for personal lending transactions, including home financing, in accordance with sound credit granting principles and with the Bank’s policies and procedures
  • The candidates should be able to act as a key member of a collaborative and versatile branch and market team
  • The candidates should be able to probe to understand customer personal banking and credit card needs and integrate marketing promotions and programs into customer conversations to provide strategic advice

  • The candidates should be able to take the initiative to find creative approaches that make each customer’s experience feel personal

  • The candidates should be able to protect the Bank’s assets in compliance with all regulatory, legal, and ethical requirements
  • The candidates should be able to complete complex and diverse tasks within given rules/limits and may include handling escalations from other employees
