Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or Intermediate or a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

  • The candidates should be adept at identifying, refining, implementing, and effectively executing segment-focused partnership activities
  • The candidates should support the implementation of new ways of generating business through referral programs, partnerships, alternative channels, and community engagement
  • The candidates should collaborate with segment partners to address priority segment partnership needs and opportunities. They should also recommend and influence the selection of effective sales strategies and tactics
  • The candidates should act as an external-facing segment specialist in all activities related to partnerships and business development
  • The candidates should be responsible for providing follow-up and reporting on all partnership and business development activities
  • The candidates should ensure that employees, partners, and the Senior Director are well-informed of the results and activities driving success. They should establish a consistent communication plan for each group
  • The candidates should be proficient in preparing and presenting reports on significant trends and partnership outcomes
  • The candidates should be capable of supporting additional projects or taking the lead on smaller projects as required, including scoping, business case building, and execution
  • The candidates should work collaboratively with partners to maximize market opportunities, overall growth, and profitability
  • The candidates should possess strong analytical thinking skills, utilizing data and insights to inform decision-making processes
  • The candidates should have expertise in channel management, effectively overseeing and optimizing various channels to achieve business goals
  • The candidates should excel in client relationship management, fostering strong connections with clients and addressing their needs
  • The candidates should be proficient in communication, conveying information clearly and effectively to both internal and external stakeholders
  • The candidates should be detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy and precision in their work and deliverables

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to work with internal partners and external stakeholders as a single point of contact to develop and lead strategic partnerships, business development activities, programs, and offers to drive growth in CIBC’s priority segments (Newcomers, Students, Skilled Trades)
  • The candidates should be able to conduct external market research to identify partnership opportunities and translate the research into insights to create a compelling business case and recommendation that shall inform and drive how successful partnerships can be built
  • The candidates should be able to perform data analysis to support the development and execution of key strategic partnership activities and performance
  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills for storyboarding and developing whitepaper recommendations. They should have a proven track record of creating materials shared at Executive Forums and be skillful in using Microsoft’s suite of products
  • The candidates should be able to engage and collaborate with internal partners and external partnerships in the process of relationship building
