Salary: $21.00 hourly for 35 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Full time
Location: Abbotsford, BC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Early Morning and Morning
Work setting: Staff accommodation is available and relocation costs covered by employer
Work site environment: Candidates should have work in beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots, livestock combination farming and odours
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to perform repetitive tasks, sit, stand for extended periods and also for bending, crouching, kneeling
- The candidate should be physically strong
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a flexible environment and also be a team player
- The candidate should have experience of equipment and machinery like Tractor
- The candidate should have automated systems experience of bulk grain or feed handling – automated, Milking system (automated) and also manure handling and storage
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able for calving, cattle training and also farm animal grooming
- The candidate should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens and also examine produce for quality and prepare for market
- The candidate should be able to milk cows, monitoring animal health
