Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completed Grade 12
Experience: Candidates should have at least two years of related experience in the operation and maintenance of pool equipment
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have a valid BC Driver’s License, a Pool Operators Level II certification, WHMIS training, a valid CPR-C certification
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform janitorial and custodial tasks to ensure that pool facilities are maintained at an established level of cleanliness and sanitation
- The candidates should be able to clean and vacuum pools, perform mechanical and chemical procedures, test and regulate water levels, and ensure that water purity and cleanliness meet established standards
- The candidates should be able to inspect, repair, and maintain swimming pool equipment, including pumps, valves, chlorinators, heating units, boilers, filters, chlorine tanks, pipes, meters, and motors
