Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience in customer service in a retail environment
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have sales experience and prepared to pass pre-employment tests, a security screening, and an interview
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform a variety of sales and customer service activities to ensure complete customer satisfaction
- The candidates should be able to operate a computerized point of sale system efficiently and receive, sort, and sequence mail items effectively
- The candidates should be able to maintain a high level of knowledge about postal products, services, and delivery options
- The candidates should be able to process financial transactions, including cash, cheques, debit, and credit card payments accurately
- The candidates should be able to exercise physical effort in handling mail items weighing up to 22.7 kilograms (50 pounds)
- The candidates should be able to maintain floor displays to ensure they are attractive and well-organized
- The candidates should be able to conduct merchandising and inventory control to manage stock levels and display products appropriately
