Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have Honours degree from a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution, preferably in business
Experience: Candidates should have Four years of relevant experience, including project management, recruiting and career advising

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have ability to work with minimal supervision and have exceptional level of initiative and reliability
  • The candidates should be comfortable speaking in front of groups, making presentations, and/or networking at community events
  • The candidates should have excellence in teaching, training, and/or advising on a 1:1 or small-group basis and superior interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should work temporarily remotely due to public health orders, directives and/or health and safety requirements

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have previous career and/or employment experience and employment experience with both private and public sectors
  • The candidates should have excellent knowledge and current understanding of post-secondary educational services
  • The candidates should have demonstrated ability to work with a diverse student body and proven ability to develop, implement, and monitor innovative programs at the post-secondary level and proficiency in working with MS Office
  • The candidates should have strong project management skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and a solid understanding of the University environment
  • The candidates should have the ability to interact successfully with all levels of administration and faculty
  • The candidates should have experience in working with students and programs
  • The candidates should have Valid driver’s licence

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to report to the Associate Dean, Professional Graduate Programs (PGP), and be supervised by the Team Lead, Professional Graduate Programs
  • The candidates should be able to work closely with the Senior Relations Officer and the Career Management Team to ensure alignment for graduate student needs
  • The candidates should be able to provide an exceptional academic experience, ensuring that students are able to achieve their desired level of education to fulfill their academic and/or life purpose
  • The candidates should be able to be accountable for internship placements for Professional Graduate Programs, which includes the development and maintenance of partnership relationships with existing internship placement employers
  • The candidates should be able to be responsible for the cultivation and management of partnerships with new employers, providing coaching and support for all MBA, MAcc, and MFin candidates through the internship selection and placement process
  • The candidates should be able to serve as the first point of contact, plan and complete site visits, and update and maintain the internship placement database
  • The candidates should be able to provide advice and recommendations for all areas of responsibility, including communication and marketing of the internship placements
