Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of university degree in a related discipline such as engineering or architecture
Experience: Candidates should have experience working in a Project Management Office
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have completed a post-secondary college diploma possess a combination of education, training, and experience deemed equivalent, extensive experience in Project and Engineering management of large, complex, and multi-disciplined projects
- The candidates should have a PMP certification, demonstrate the ability to effectively work with and support multi-disciplined teams, including Project Managers, Senior Project Engineers, Designers, and Consultants
- The candidates should have comprehensive knowledge of current engineering principles and practices, along with project management principles covering conceptual planning and all design phases
- The candidates should have comprehensive knowledge of current Project Management Standards and be familiar with project management information systems and reporting, particularly regarding scope control, scheduling, and cost management
- The candidates should have comprehensive knowledge of construction techniques, contract administration, and construction inspection
- The candidates should be knowledgeable about pertinent Acts and Regulations, including the Construction Lien Act and Occupational Health and Safety Ac
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to coordinate project activities throughout the project lifecycle, from initial planning to completion, support project delivery to ensure it stays within budget and on schedule and define, monitor, and review all project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, control, and close-out activities
- The candidates should be able to act as a key point of contact, liaising with the project team, TTC staff, and external stakeholders, participate in the development and implementation of business cases, project charters, and project management plans
- The candidates should be able to support requirements management and interface management based on stakeholder input and provide project control support, including cost analysis and cost reconciliations for assigned projects
- The candidates should be able to conduct cost and budget studies, analyzing and interpreting data for reporting purposes and monitor progress and performance, preparing variance reports and identifying potential issues
- The candidates should be able to prepare, coordinate, and review contracts, work plans, reports, and documents, obtaining necessary sign-offs, and monitor outstanding issues to ensure timely resolution
- The candidates should be able to promote a respectful, inclusive, and accessible work environment, free from harassment and discrimination and participate in the TTC Customer Service Ambassador Program
