Salary: $33.01 to $40.25 hourly (To be negotiated) for 80 hours bi-weekly
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Mahone Bay, NS
Shifts: Day, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime
Work setting: Hospital or home for the aged and Long term care
Supervision: 16-20 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Credentials: Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities
Security and safety: Adult Abuse Registry check and Vulnerable sector check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of their work and be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling as necessary for the job
• The candidates should excel in a fast-paced environment, efficiently managing tasks and responsibilities, and possess manual dexterity for precise and accurate task performance
• The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks as part of the job requirements and be able to sit for extended periods as required by the job duties
• The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods throughout the workday

• The candidates should consistently deliver accurate results in their tasks and prioritize client focus, ensuring the satisfaction of client needs
• The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and colleagues, and demonstrate excellent oral communication skills
• The candidates should showcase excellent written communication skills for various forms of correspondence and display flexibility in adapting to changing circumstances and tasks
• The candidates should show initiative in taking proactive steps to address challenges and pursue opportunities, and exercise sound judgment in decision-making processes
• The candidates should be highly organized in managing tasks and schedules, and reliable by completing tasks accurately and on time
• The candidates should be cooperative and effective team players, collaborating well with others, and possess strong time management skills, effectively prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
