Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and handle physically demanding tasks. They should also be willing to work overtime as required
  • The candidates should have attention to detail and be able to perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. They should also be able to stand for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a strong client focus, be dependable, and possess efficient interpersonal skills. They should also have excellent oral communication and be a team player
  • The candidates should be flexible, organized, and reliable. They should also have the ability to multitask effectively

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to evaluate daily operations, monitor staff performance, and plan and organize daily operations. They should also recruit staff, set staff work schedules, and supervise and train staff
  • The candidates should determine the type of services to be offered, implement operational procedures, and balance cash while completing balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms. They should also organize and maintain inventory and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • The candidates should negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, as well as with clients for catering or the use of facilities. They should address customers’ complaints or concerns and provide customer service
  • The candidates should manage events, order supplies and equipment, and assist in supervising personnel who prepare and serve food. They should also oversee payroll administration and hire and oversee the training and supervision of staff
