Shifts: Morning, 09:00 to 17:00
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, Civil engineering, general
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work effectively under pressure, demonstrate attention to detail, and be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility, be organized, and work well in a team
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare estimates of labor and/or material costs, including master format estimates (Class A) and elemental format estimates (Classes B, C, D)
- The candidates should be able to prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads, project cash flow and financing requirements, and create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms
- The candidates should be able to utilize quantity take-off procedures, advise on tendering procedures, and analyze tenders and recommend awards
- The candidates should be able to set up cost monitoring and reporting systems, monitor and adjust contract expenditures, and prepare and maintain a directory of supplies and trade contractors
- The candidates should be able to liaise, consult, and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates
