Fresh Tandoori Flavour Indian Bistro based in Victoria, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Restaurant manager. Fresh Tandoori Flavour Indian Bistro is a family business owned and operated by Ranjit and Jasbir Bains. We are a pioneer in Canada for offering choices of hot, medium, and mild dishes. We have many years of experience in restaurant industry and are well-known in the community. We are known to provide satisfaction to our customers, that they don’t have to go to any one else after getting the best services from us. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible. The position of Restaurant manager is approved by LMIA.

Salary: $27.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week

Supervision: 1 to 2 people, 3-4 people
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates need experience of 1 year to less than 2 years
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations, determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices
- The candidate should be able to ensure health and safety regulations are followed, negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities, and develop, implement and analyze budgets
- The candidate should be able to participate in marketing plans and implementation, set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance, and address customers’ complaints or concerns
- The candidate should be able to provide customer service and recruit, train and supervise staff
