Tim Hortons based in Bracebridge, ON is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Restaurant manager. Serving as more than just a coffee shop, it’s a hub where locals and visitors alike connect over freshly brewed coffee, donuts, and hearty meals. Salary: $22.00 hourly for 35 to 40 hours per week

Supervision: 5-10 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • The candidates should be able to handle repetitive tasks and manage physically demanding work
  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate attention to detail

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be accurate, dependable, and possess efficient interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should have a client-focused approach, excellent oral communication abilities, and the ability to multitask
  • The candidates should demonstrate flexibility, be organized, reliable, and a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, including determining the type of services to be offered and implementing operational procedures
  • The candidates should be able to balance cash, complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms, as well as conduct performance reviews
  • The candidates should be able to cost products and services, organize and maintain inventory, and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • The candidates should be able to negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, participate in marketing plans and implementation, and set staff work schedules while monitoring staff performance
  • The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, provide customer service, and lead/instruct individuals
