Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in fast-paced environment, work under pressure and also pay attention to detail
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to establish and maintain contact with suppliers and also negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms and transportation arrangements with suppliers
- The candidate should be able to oversee distribution of merchandise to outlets, review requirements of establishment and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase and also select and purchase merchandise for resale
- The candidate should be able to arrange product according to planogram, maintain adequate stock levels and also study market reports, trade periodicals and sales promotion materials and visit trade shows, showrooms, factories and product design events
- The candidate should be able to provide customer service and also supervise work of other buyers
