Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate or a diploma
Experience: Candidates need experience of working in various departments the details to the same are explained below

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates need a current and valid Rope Access or Fall Arrest Certification (SPRAT or IRATA Level 1)
  • The candidates need a minimum of 1 years’ experience working on guyed or self-supporting communication towers and other antenna supporting structures.
  • The candidates need experience in the installation, removal, and maintenance of antennas and transmission line systems respective to land based communications infrastructure.
  • The candidate should have the ability to communicate effectively orally
  • The candidate should have the ability to communicate effectively in writing
  • The candidate should be able to work with an initiative
  • The candidate should have judgement skills
  • The candidate should be someone who can be dependent on
  • The candidate should have Reliability Status security clearance – Valid Health Canada Medical
  • The candidate should have a valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License.
  • The candidate should be willing and able to climb towers and work at heights in excess of 2.4m.
  • The candidate should be willing and able to travel for up to 3 week periods of time to remote sites via; trucks, boats and aircraft.
  • The candidate should be willing and able to access remote sites over rugged terrain and work outdoors in extremes of environmental conditions
  • The candidate should be willing and able to climb towers and work at heights in excess of 2.4m.
  • The candidates who are hired as the core public administration are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and attest to their vaccination status unless accommodated based on a medical contraindication, religion, or another prohibited ground for discrimination as defined under the Canadian Human Rights Act.
