Summit Resort MPM o/a Blackcomb Springs Suites operating as Blackcomb Springs Suites, offers a luxurious mountain retreat experience. Situated amidst the stunning natural beauty of the region, the resort provides guests with upscale accommodations, unparalleled amenities, and breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $22.17 hourly for 40 hours per week

Location: Whistler, BC
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Morning
Transportation information: Public transportation is available
Work setting: Staff accommodation available, Hotel, motel, resort

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be non-smoking and demonstrate the ability to work independently
  • The candidates should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and capable of handling repetitive tasks
  • The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads and be physically capable of meeting demanding job requirements
  • The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail and be comfortable with tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and be comfortable with walking as part of their duties
  • The candidates should be able to handle weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should exhibit punctuality, prioritize client focus, and demonstrate dependability
  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills, have excellent oral communication abilities, and demonstrate flexibility
  • The candidates should show initiative, exhibit good judgment, and be organized
  • The candidates should demonstrate reliability, be team players, and have excellent written communication skills
  • The candidates should uphold strong values and ethics, exhibit patience, and be honest

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors diligently, dust furniture thoroughly, and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture meticulously
  • The candidates should be able to make beds and change sheets with attention to detail, distribute clean towels and toiletries promptly, and stock the linen closet efficiently
  • The candidates should be able to clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances thoroughly, handle and report lost and found items promptly, and attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items promptly
  • The candidates should be able to pick up debris and empty trash containers regularly, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties diligently, and wash windows, walls, and ceilings meticulously
