Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience in timekeeping including performing timekeeping functions in SAP and processing pay

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check, have a satisfactory Child Abuse Registry Check, a satisfactory Adult Abuse Registry Check and have a satisfactory Enhanced Security Screening
  • The candidates should have extensive experience creating, administering, and maintaining complex electronic and manual employee schedules
  • The candidates should have experience with interpreting and applying policies, procedures, guidelines, and Collective Agreements
  • The candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills with experience developing and maintaining positive working relationships
  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) with experience performing complex functions in Excel is expected and have strong written communication skills
  • The candidates should have strong verbal communication skills and have experience working independently while contributing to overall team goals
  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality and contribute to a respectful workplace

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to, reporting to the Financial Manager, provide staff scheduling services and timekeeping support to the Winnipeg Remand Centre
