Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of degree qualified preferred with a focus on engineering ASCM certified (CPIM and CSCP)
Experience: Candidates should have 5 to 8 years of Procurement experience gained in a mining industry, operations or engineering focused environment

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess significant commercial, negotiation and deal-making experience
  • The candidates should have experience with Category Management, sourcing and contracting with a Total Cost Ownership approach
  • The candidates should be self-starters who can anticipate needs and work independently with minimal supervision
  • The candidates should demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills, both orally and written with both internal and external stakeholders
  • The candidates should have advanced numerical, analytical, and administrative skills, including advanced MS Office skills with a focus on MS Excel
  • The candidates should be proficient with the SAP MM module
  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to work with various levels of the organization

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to execute procurement category strategies to deliver goods, services, equipment based on mine-site requirements, including category profiling, conducting RFx, evaluating proposals, recommending, negotiating offers, implementing agreements with stakeholders and supporting agreement management within operations
  • The candidates should be able to work closely with Corporate Procurement to deliver on the Category Plan, including providing support to regional initiatives and dissemination and compliance with the Company’s Procurement, Delegation of Authority, and other related Policies
  • The candidates should be able to own the building, negotiation and execution of the full RFx process, including drafting and negotiation of resulting Regional or Site-focused agreements with support from the Corporate Legal Team
  • The candidates should be able to ensure Category strategies and any correspondence with external 3rd parties are aligned with business and operational requirements, including price, service and risk
  • The candidates should be able to ensure continuous supply of required goods and materials while managing any supply concerns that may pose a risk or impact on business operations, usage, cost, lead time, and supply, among others
  • The candidates should be able to prepare monthly performance reports with gap analyses and a variety of departmental personnel to confirm specifications and required dates and report on value creation that aligns with the overall Supply Chain strategy, critical tasks, and performance targets
  • The candidates should be able to execute orders for supplies and services as required, including projects and procurement category strategies to deliver goods, services, equipment based on mine-site requirements
  • The candidates should be able to perform other duties as assigned by the Supply Chain Manager and the management of agreements within the operations and collaborate and cooperate with the Company’s Internal and External Audit Process
  • The candidates should be able to conduct category profiling, including but not limited to, conducting RFx, evaluation of proposals, recommending, negotiating offers and implementing agreements with stakeholders
