Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language

Experience: Candidates should have 10+ years of AAA video game development experience
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have 5+ years of experience developing backend features for AAA video games in a live environment
- The candidates should have expertise in restful API development, AWS, and database design and programming expertise in languages such as GO
- The candidates should possess strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English. Due to the nature of the role involving interaction with other Amazon entities globally and stakeholders across Canada, bilingual proficiency in French and English is required for this position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to provide mentoring, knowledge sharing, and technical leadership on software design, architecture, resilience, scalability, and operability
- The candidates should be able to gather requirements and feedback, and propose, implement, and maintain solutions and functionality for key game systems and features
- The candidates should be able to collaborate with colleagues to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of the game feature ecosystem
- The candidates should be able to develop and enhance tools for measuring, monitoring, and logging service performance, health, and availability
- The candidates should be able to implement tools and practices for enabling the integration, distribution, and continuous deployment of online services and components required for the game (CI or CD)
