Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field
Experience: Candidates should have experience in change management and/or transformation processes

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in an office setting, involving extended periods of sitting and computer use
  • The candidates should be able to travel occasionally for meetings or department-related activities
  • The candidates should have the capability to attend and actively participate in various meetings

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have relevant post-secondary education and extensive project management experience and/or relevant business experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered
  • The candidates should possess extensive experience undertaking quantitative and qualitative research, such as complex financial and/or program analysis, evaluation, or review, including the relevance and impact of government policies
  • The candidate should have strong analytical experience, evaluating impacts and implementation challenges, and providing strategic advice and creative alternative solutions to senior leaders on complex and sensitive issues
  • The candidate should have experience transforming strategic priorities into business plans, collaborating with departments and stakeholders, and demonstrating capabilities in business case development, strategic planning, and project execution
  • The candidate should possess extensive experience successfully managing projects from start to finish, developing and managing project plans, achieving milestones, and effectively communicating results. Additionally, the candidate should have experience in mapping organizational policies and processes to identify efficiencies and improvements
  • The candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills, developing effective working relationships with a team, and engaging with internal and external stakeholders
  • The candidate should demonstrate excellent written communication skills, effectively conveying complex information in a clear and concise manner, and strong oral communication skills for delivering presentations
  • The candidate should show political acumen in managing complex relationships with conflicting priorities, coupled with effective time management skills, the ability to multi-task, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines
  • The candidate should have knowledge and understanding of government organization and financial processes
  • The candidate should have experience in change management and/or transformation processes

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to deliver projects resulting from extensive internal and external research, analyses, trade-off studies, creative solution options, business cases, and implementation/execution plans for streamlining and/or reorganization of government entities
  • The candidates should be able to implement decisions and manage projects to completion
  • The candidates should have the ability to understand the implications associated with government-wide fiscal management
  • The candidates should be able to balance central government’s requirements and departmental expectations for each issue being addressed
  • The candidates should be able to encourage understanding and consensus among numerous government personnel
  • The candidates should maintain a corporate perspective on issues and develop recommendations with full consideration of various alternatives, factors, and the needs of all departments and central government
