Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language

Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have strong analytical and research skills to proactively identify and provide recommendations for complex issues, taking appropriate actions to mitigate losses
  • The candidates should possess decision-making capabilities to accurately identify fraudulent/high-risk activity and take timely actions, considering overall impacts to Fraud Management and CIBC
  • The candidates should have a considerable degree of risk with judgments made/actions taken, as the results/outcome is likely only apparent after a number of months
  • The candidates should be capable of developing/modifying and implementing operational procedures to increase productivity and efficiency
  • The candidates should have superior customer service skills to deal directly with customers with empathy in complex and often sensitive situations, where ambiguity and conflict may exist
  • The candidates should have fluency in French to serve our clients in the community

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to provide tactical guidance and specialized knowledge to department team members responsible for handling inbound calls from clients relating to both Identity Theft Response (ITR) and Account Activity Fraud (AAF) team
  • The candidate should have working knowledge of the functional complexities, objectives, procedures, and operations of Fraud Management programs, sufficient to analyze actions taken and steps followed. Practical understanding of most major systems, with detailed knowledge of key, Fraud Management specific tools. This includes understanding TSYS, PRM, COINS, ECIF, Certapay, RCM and FMCA
  • The candidate should be able to motivate and inspire excellent customer service, coaching and mentoring team members to develop the skills required for their jobs and fostering collaboration within their team. They should be able to see the vision and translate it into action by inspiring other team members
  • The candidate should focus on people development, coaching team members to empower their day-to-day work lives and helping them thrive in a continuous learning environment
  • The candidate should be able to analyze data, reviewing and interpreting call activity, performance measures (sales, productivity, and quality) related to the team, team members, and the Centre as a whole
  • The candidate should be able to demonstrate attention to detail, ensuring a high level of accuracy in all activities, including clerical and administrative duties required to complete assigned tasks as per standard processes
