Work Setting: Computer hardware or software retailer/wholesaler and consulting firm
Security and safety: Bond required, basic security clearance required and enhanced reliability security clearance
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates need experience of 1 year to less than 2 years
Computer and technology knowledge: Candidates must have knowledge of Eclipse, Environment – Client/Server, HP/UX, Linux, HTML, MS Windows, DHTML, Extranet, Internet, XML Technology (XSL,XSD,DTD), Servers, Desktop applications, Java, File management software, JavaScript, JSP, Unix, CSS, HTML editing software, Web service design, SQL, Database software, Programming languages, Software development, MS Office, Oracle, TCP/IP, Git, Hadoop and Python
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in fast-paced environment and work under pressure
- The candidate should be able to maintain tight deadlines, perform repetitive tasks, pay attention to detail and also able to sit
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work with being focused on the client and work in an organised way
- The candidate should be able to take initiative
- The candidate should be a team player and also be someone who can judge the situation
- The candidate should have accuracy, have an efficient interpersonal skills and also an excellent oral communication and written communication
- The candidate should have specialization on System integration
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to collect and document user’s requirements and develop logical and physical specifications
- The candidate should be able to research, evaluate and synthesize technical information to design, develop and test computer-based systems
- The candidate should be able to plan, design and co-ordinate the development, installation, integration and operation of computer-based systems
- The candidate should be able to assess, troubleshoot, document, upgrade and develop maintenance procedures for operating systems, communications environments and applications software
