Supervision: 3-4 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to work under pressure
  • The candidates should be prepared for a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and capable of standing for extended periods
  • The candidates should be able to walk for extended periods and prepared for physically demanding tasks

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and exhibit excellent oral communication
  • The candidates should demonstrate flexibility and be team players

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to establish methods to meet work schedules and supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • The candidates should be able to train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
  • The candidates should be able to hire food service staff and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • The candidates should be able to prepare and submit reports, prepare food order summaries for the chef, and have knowledge of the establishment’s culinary genres
  • The candidates should be able to supervise and check the assembly of trays
