MAR.MED INC based in Saint-Laurent, QC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Shipper-receiver. We ensure that vessels are equipped with the necessary medical expertise and supplies to handle health emergencies at sea. Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Equipment and machinery experience: Dollies and hand trucks, Pallet lifters
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel
Credentials: Forklift Operator Certification
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to handle large workload
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be accurate, dependable, organized, and flexible
- The candidates should be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizen and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to determine method of shipment, schedule distribution of goods
- The candidates should be able to schedule transportation conveyances, prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents
- The candidates should be able to assemble containers and crates, inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents
- The candidates should be able to maintain internal record-keeping system, record shortages and reject damaged goods
- The candidates should be able to route goods to appropriate storage areas, pack goods to be shipped
- The candidates should be able to unpack goods received, oversee loading and unloading of goods
- The candidates should be able to affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments
