Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to provide procurement operations support for the fulfillment center, encompassing supplier management for goods and services, non-inventory labor, flow, space models, cycle counts, inventory management, and procurement transactions
  • The candidates should be able to lead and develop a team of non-inventory associates, ensuring the building is adequately resourced and prepared for success
  • The candidates should be able to manage and enforce safety compliance for non-inventory teams during day-to-day activities, collaborating with regional/local safety teams for site-level safety issues and escalations
  • The candidates should be able to manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure, control, and benchmark procurement processes, generating recurring metrics reports to drive improvements across the Operations network
  • The candidates should be able to foster relationships across the building and network to facilitate the sharing and implementation of best practices
  • The candidates should be able to align with internal customers, Finance, and Procurement Operations to understand budgetary targets by building and establish methods for measuring savings, value, and other category metrics
  • The candidates should be able to assist Finance and internal customers in determining budgets and maintenance for blanket purchase order management
  • The candidates should be able to develop a category metrics model to track and monitor performance in relation to category strategy, such as supplier scorecards and site audits on third-party services
  • The candidates should be able to measure actual versus planned savings and develop action plans to meet goals and implement solutions to address savings trends effectively
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate with internal and external partners to develop innovative solutions that provide procurement support to the Operations network
  • The candidates should be able to implement methods to measure supplier performance and drive continuous improvement on behalf of Amazon
  • The candidates should be able to partner with Accounts Payable, Suppliers, and various internal teams to ensure timely resolution of vendor payment issues
  • The candidates should be able to perform work in a warehouse environment, requiring frequent movement around the building and adaptation to varying temperatures due to open dock doors throughout shifts
