Salary: $30.50 hourly for 32 to 40 hours per week

Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence
Work setting: High-rise building construction sites and Various locations
Type of cranes: Climbing crane, fixed or limited mobility and Conventional cable crane, tracked
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots and Hard hat
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work efficiently under pressure and have the physical capability to handle tasks that are physically demanding
- The candidates should demonstrate manual dexterity and attention to detail in their tasks, as well as possess strong hand-eye coordination skills
- The candidates should be comfortable sitting outdoors as part of their duties and able to work at heights and in confined spaces when required
- The candidates should be able to work efficiently in noisy environments and in dusty conditions
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate dependability in fulfilling their responsibilities and have excellent oral communication skills
- The candidates should exhibit flexibility in adapting to changing circumstances and be a team player, fostering collaboration within the team
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials and clean and lubricate cranes
- The candidates should be able to instruct apprentices and operate cranes equipped with dredging attachments to dredge waterways and other areas
- The candidates should be able to assemble tower cranes on site and perform pre-operational inspections, calculate crane capacities and weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting
- The candidates should be able to perform routine maintenance work
