Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience operating a loader

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be safety-oriented, able to lift 55 lbs, and able to work in a fast-paced, high-production environment
  • They should be willing to work overtime and shifts when needed, including Saturdays, and able to work unsupervised

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to work well with others and possess good communication skills
  • The candidates should be mechanically inclined and have the ability to read survey markings

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate full training in the operations and capability of a front-end wheel loader
  • The candidates should be able to perform considerable physical activity, including heavy lifting, bending, and twisting
  • The candidates should be able to assist with a variety of job operations
  • The candidates should be able to assist with plant maintenance tasks
  • The candidates should be able to ensure the safety of company personnel, the community, and the environment
  • The candidates should be able to complete daily equipment checklists
  • The candidates should be able to monitor and ensure accurate weights
  • The candidates should be able to monitor material production within specifications
  • The candidates should be able to ensure consistent feed to maintain a quality product
  • The candidates should be able to create an atmosphere of teamwork
  • The candidates should be able to seek out and implement Best Practices
  • The candidates should be able to adhere to all company safety and environmental practices and policies – training provided
  • The candidates should be able to operate and perform routine maintenance on their loader, including washing and cleaning the operator’s cab inside and out, greasing, refueling, and maintaining all fluid levels
  • The candidates should be able to update and maintain all equipment service records for any piece of equipment operated, keeping accurate and thorough records of the maintenance performed, the hours on the unit, date, time, etc.; complete proof of regular service may be required
