Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
Experience: Candidates should have 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience and 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be comfortable with sedentary work, using a computer for extended periods to write, test, and debug software code
• The candidates should have good visual acuity to work with on-screen code, read documentation, and perform detailed analysis

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should have an established background in engineering large-scale software systems
• The candidates should have experience programming with at least one software programming language
• The candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• The candidates should have experience collaborating with and supporting open-source software development projects and communities
• The candidates should possess strong technical ability, demonstrate great communication skills and motivated to achieve results in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to design, develop, test, and deploy distributed open-source message broker systems and large-scale solutions for a world-wide customer base, collaborating closely with cross-functional peers and open-source project maintainers to influence the overall strategy and define the team’s roadmap
• The candidates should be able to drive the system architecture, spearhead best practices that enable a quality product, and help coach and develop junior engineers
