Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have a degree/diploma in Computer Science/Engineering and/or a related field
Experience: Candidates should have 2-5 years of experience leading and managing a team primarily consisting of, but not limited to, Business Analysts within a capital markets financial institution

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be proficient in business process modeling and possess experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and data analysis
  • The candidates should have professional exposure to Stakeholder management, supporting the prioritizing of work, System Development Lifecycle, Application Delivery, and Implementation
  • The candidates should have previous experience with Jira, Confluence, and SQL
  • The candidates should be have experience within the Regulatory space (i.e., G20 reporting)

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to lead the Business Analysis team within CIBC’s Regulatory Reporting Services team
  • The candidates should be able to, as a Senior Manager within IT, support the Director of Product Management and oversee a team of Technical and Functional business analysts
  • The candidates should be able to manage performance, be involved with and lead resource planning, and support the day-to-day activities to run the Business Analysis function
  • The candidates should be able to work closely with their team to ensure the successful delivery of complex, enterprise-scale projects
  • The candidates should be able to conduct an analysis of processes and functional or reporting requirements to document, communicate, and negotiate, proposing best practices to stakeholders
  • The candidates should be able to utilize use case analysis, define and document business and solution requirements, providing Subject Matter Expert (SME) advice and direction to internal and external stakeholders
  • The candidates should be able to work with internal partners to determine, negotiate, and manage services to agreed standards
  • The candidates should be able to monitor service levels to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend appropriate solutions
  • The candidates should be able to lead and coach a high-performing team, directing, motivating, and developing team members to maximize their contributions and professional growth
  • The candidates should be able to share knowledge and collaborate to come up with effective solutions to problems
  • The candidates should be able to work with the technical design and development team across multiple lines of business for requirement socialization and supporting development and build
